⿈蔚園出⽣於⾹港，為施坦威青年榮譽教師。她以⼀級榮譽畢業於英國皇家⾳樂學院碩⼠，師隨 Professor Norma Fisher；並曾於⾹港演藝學院獲⾳樂學⼠，師隨駐院藝術家⿈懿倫教授，亦曾隨郭品⽂⽼師。

蔚園在多個本港及國際⾳樂⽐賽獲得獎項，包括：⾹港演藝學院協奏曲⽐賽優勝者，北京國際⾳樂⼤師班藝術節鋼琴獨奏⽐賽亞軍；韓國國際⻘少年鋼琴⽐賽季軍；荷蘭恩斯赫德國際鋼琴⽐賽亞軍及“傳媒評委獎”、“最受觀眾歡迎獎”；英國威爾斯第六⼗五屆靈閣嶺國際⾳樂⼤賽冠軍；上海亞洲⻘少年⾳樂⽐赛冠軍；北京周廣仁鋼琴藝術新⼈獎亞軍；亞洲鋼琴公開⽐賽(協奏曲)冠軍；第七⼗一屆施坦威國際⻘少年鋼琴⽐賽業餘組港澳賽區及北京總決賽冠軍和“特等獎”； 第七⼗五屆施坦威國際⻘少年鋼琴⽐賽專業組港澳賽區及北京總決賽冠軍，並獲頒專業組“特等奬”，代表中國赴德國參加國際施坦威藝術節演出。

她曾於德國漢堡、北京、廈⾨、倫敦等地演出，並為第 42 屆⾹港藝術節之「魔法鋼琴與蕭邦短篇」擔任鋼琴獨奏及第 46 屆⾹港藝術節之「跨越意象」，在「伴你成⻑」⾳樂會中鋼琴獨奏及三重奏，亦多次於「⼼．曲」⾳樂會演出。蔚園曾與⾹港管弦樂團、⾹港泛亞交響樂團、⾹港演藝學院交響樂團、⾹港兒童交響樂團合作演出，擔任獨奏。她亦曾受邀於香港演藝精英杯，HKYPAF香港國際青少年表演藝術節擔任評委。

蔚園曾獲得多項獎學⾦包括演藝鋼琴校友獎學⾦、鷹君獎學⾦、梅夫⼈獎學⾦，⿈懿倫教授獎學⾦等。她更獲⾹港政府頒發嘉許獎，以表揚她積極參與國際⽂化藝術活動，成績優異。 

Wai Yuen Wong Valerie was born in Hong Kong and is a Steinway Honorary Teacher. She obtained her Master’s degree with distinction from the Royal College of Music in London under Professor Norma Fisher. She completed her Bachelor of Music degree at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) under Professor Eleanor Wong, Artist-in-Residence, and previously studied with Miss Julie Kuok during her early years.

She has won many overseas and local music competition prizes, including Concerto trial prize with the Academy Symphony Orchestra of HKAPA; the 2nd prize, audience prize and press prize at the International Piano Competition, Enschede of the Netherlands. The 3rd Prize in the 1st Korea International Competition for Young Pianists, the First Prize and Professional Grand Prize at the 75th Steinway & Sons International Youth Piano Competition and was invited to perform at “The International Steinway Art Festival ” held in Hamburg, Germany, representing China. She was also awarded the First Prize at the 65th Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in Wales, UK

In addition, she has given recitals in Hamburg, Beijing, Xiamen and a solo recital at St Mary’s Perivate, London. She also performed the “Magic Piano & The Chopin Shorts” and “Beyond Impressionism” at the 42nd and 46th Hong Kong Arts Festival respectively.Wong has appeared in solo performances with a number of orchestras including the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra,the Academy Symphony Orchestra of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Hong Kong Children's Symphony Orchestra and Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra. She also performed trio and solo in the ‘Grow up with Music Concert’. Wai Yuen also performed constantly at the ‘Musica del Cuore’

Wai Yuen is the awardee of scholarships including the HKAPA Piano Alumni Scholarship, the Great Eagle Scholarship, Helena May Scholarship ,Prof. Eleanor Wong Schlorship.

Beyond her performance career, Wong has been invited as a jury member for several piano competitions in Hong Kong, Macau, and China. She is dedicated to piano education, with many of her students achieving success in both local and international competitions.
