生於香港，甘穎昶教授乃現今最活躍的鋼琴家和教育家之一。自公開演出以來，他已踏足亞、美、歐、澳四大洲多個主要城市的音樂廳演出，包括：奧地利的加連泰亞夏季音樂節、荷蘭的國際荷蘭音樂節、美國的艾斯本音樂節等。

甘教授亦多次與世界著名的指揮家和管弦樂團合作，包括：澳洲昆士蘭管弦樂團、美國哈法特交響樂團、香港管弦樂團及香港小交響樂團。

多年來獲獎無數，甘教授隨著名鋼琴家及教育家黃懿倫教授和鮑里斯‧貝爾曼習藝。他曾獲演藝學院、亞洲文化協會、賽馬會、耶魯大學等頒發全獎學金以修讀音樂學位課程。二零一零年他獲香港大學研究生堂頒發榮譽院士榮銜。此外他又多次獲得傑出鋼琴導師和音樂教育家獎。

甘教授現於香港演藝學院和香港夏日樂韻任教。二零一九年起獲上海大學音樂學院聘為教授。他多次於香港、澳門及中國主持鋼琴大師班和講座，並為多個鋼琴比賽擔任評判。他的學生亦多次在國際鋼琴比賽中贏得獎項，且被世界多間著名的音樂學院取錄。

Born in Hong Kong, Professor Kam Wing Chong has been an active pianist and educator. Since his first public concert, he has been performing in Asia, Australia, Europe, and America including the Carinthia Summer Festival, International Holland Music Sessions and Aspen Music Festival.

Professor Kam has also collaborated with world-renowned conductors and orchestras in the past including Queensland Philharmonic Orchestra, Hartford Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic and Hong Kong Sinfonietta.

An international competition prize winner, Kam studied with Professor Eleanor Wong and Boris Berman. He received full scholarships from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Asian Cultural Council, Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund and Yale University for his studies in the HKAPA, Aspen Music Festival, and Yale University School of Music. He was also awarded the Honorary Fellowship by the Graduate House of the University of Hong Kong and was named the Outstanding Music Educator by several organisations.

Professor Kam currently teaches at the HKAPA and Hong Kong Summer Music. He was appointed as Distinguished Professor at the Shanghai University Music School in 2019 and has been serving as adjudicators and guest lecturers in Hong Kong, Macau, and mainland China. Over the years, his students have won international prizes and were accepted by famous music institutions around the world.
